We are now open for summer bookings for the month of February 2025. Minimum 5 nights. Red Onion is an accommodation provider mainly during winter months. Our minimum stay is 5 nights in the winter, and summer bookings are for longer stays by negotiation. It is a large home accommodating up to 10 people, in 4 bedrooms, has two bathrooms, two lounges, a separate kitchen and huge balcony. All linen a
nd towels are provided and it has all the amenities you would have in your own home. Red Onion is ideal accommodation for families, with plenty of space and comfort. An attic lounge allows a separate space for children to get away from their noisy parents, with an entertainment system and an extensive collection of books, puzzles, games and DVDs for all ages. We can provide a cot and high chair for under twos if needed. Red Onion, originally built in 1964 by the Australian Alpine Club as one of their original Hutte, has been our home for more than 45 years, and has been fully restored and updated without losing the Austrian feel.
