Big news for Kasey Barton 👏🏏

Kasey has signed a rookie contract with Cricket Tasmania for the 2026/27 season after being identified as one of Australia’s exciting young fast bowling talents.

The Australia U19 representative joins Tasmania alongside fellow young guns William Taylor and Nitesh Samuel, with Cricket Tasmania highlighting Kasey as part of strengthening their pace bowling stocks for the future.

A huge achievement and exciting next step. Congratulations Kasey! 🔥

Wollongong District Cricket Club is proud to announce Graeme Batty as our Senior Men’s Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Club President Cameron Johnson shared his thoughts on the appointment:

"The club is thrilled to appoint Graeme as its men's head coach. Graeme's alignment with our vision to be the club of choice in Greater Illawarra cricket made him the outstanding candidate for this role. We look forward to what he can bring to our current and future playing group."

Graeme is equally excited to begin this next chapter:

“Coaching at Wollongong Cricket Club offers an exciting challenge for me post playing career. I’m looking forward to working with a talented group and helping create an environment where both players and the club can thrive.”
