Congratulations to our own Nash Ford and the Newtown Jets, through to the NSW Cup Prelim!

Newtown produced a thrilling 26-25 victory over North Sydney Bears in the Minor Elimination Semi-final, and Taj kicked a field goal on the final play of the game to send the Jets through! 🚀 😈

Congratulations to Tim Robinson and Brad Lugg, presented their uniforms at today’s Senior Touch Football Australia Emus jersey presentation 🇦🇺 🏉

We’re beyond proud of these boys. Not only do they put hours of work into their own game, but they continue to coach and mentor our next generation of Devils stars! 🌟

We wish them the best of luck representing our country in the M40 division over in Japan next month. We know they’ll do themselves and their families proud 🥹

👕 Please ensure all trialling players wear their MCR Junior Competition uniform, to assist our selectors identify players.

🏉 Players must be competing in WTA’s competitions to be eligible for selection.

And that’s a wrap on the 2026 i98 FM Premier League. A huge congratulations to all our players and referees on a phenomenal season, culminating with a wet and wild finals night.

The Women’s decider was won 6-0 by the Corrimal Cougars RLFC over Albion Park Oak Flats Rugby League Football club, with Mackenzie Ford named Player of the Final.

The Thirroul Butchers JRLC beat the previously undefeated Minor Premiers robertsonspuddiesrlfc 4-3 to claim the Men’s title. Jaryd Turner was named Player of the Final.

Both teams pocketed $1000 each for the win, thanks to the huge support from Struddys. We’d like to thank all our team sponsors for their ongoing support. We hope you’ll continue to support us as this competition goes from strength to strength 🏆 😈
