This week we say goodbye (for now) to Bernadette, whoโ€™s been training at DMAC Fitness for the past 7 years!
From your first session to your last, you've shown incredible commitment, consistency, and energy. You are a true example of what it means to show up and put in the work.

It's sad to see you go, but I'm excited for your next adventure as you head off to live and work in Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช.

Congratulations to the Dmac Fitness team for completing the City 2 Surf today. 14 km is no walk in the park.
For many of us it was our first time taking part in the event. There was so much support and encouragement for each other. A team effort. Can't wait for next year's event!

5 tips for staying motivated during the winter months.
1. Layer up. Invest in some good quality cold weather gear. Side note - gloves and a beanie can make a huge difference when training outdoors!

2. Set a goal. Having a challenging objective to work towards creates excitement and purpose for your workouts.

3. Plan your workouts in advance. Schedule training sessions ahead of time and treat them as non-negotiable appointments.

4. Make it social. Meet up with friends or join group training. The social aspect provides accountability and makes training in the cold more enjoyable.

5. Warm up properly. Warm ups are always crucial but even more so during the winter months. Spend a little more time on getting your muscles fired up and you'll likely have a better workout. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
