Today we held our Inaugural B Grade Farmers Day and what a Fantastic Day it was, A big Thankyou to all the participants who played in magnificent weather conditions. To our wonderful Volunteers who helped out, To Roseanne our fantastic Catering Manager and Treasurer for the huge amount of work she puts in, Our Vice President Derrick who spent countless hours in organising teams, To our fantastic major anonymous Sponsor we thankyou so much, A special Mention to our teams that travelled up from St Helens, the young Juniors are so very polite and a credit to the St Helens Bowls Club for how they play the game. To the winners of the day and Raffle winners ( who could find their tickets!) Well done. Here is a few photos we would like to share.

We've had the Legana Car Wash jump onboard as a sponsor again this season and they have donated a voucher for our winter farmers day this saturday . We welcome Toby and his team as the new owners on board this year and we look forward to a suceessful partnership into the future

Update on the lights: unfortunately due to timeframes and not being able to order anything until the budget was approved we have been advised that there is a 12 week delivery on the light towers which means our lights won't be installed until late october at the earliest. We will advise opposing clubs and Bowls North on restrictions to our club if we need to move games away from home during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we like the rest of you know this delay will be worth the wait and looking forward to the future.
