Congratulations to Zara and Piper on representing Metropolitan North at the Queensland 12 Years Basketball Championships. It was a wonderful opportunity for both girls and a well-deserved reward for their commitment, growth and hard work.

Special shout-out to Nets Coach Cale! Her commitment to creating opportunities for young female athletes is making a genuine difference.

We are incredibly proud of Za and Pips & look forward to seeing where their basketball journey takes them next!

May these girls continue to use their talents with humility, joy and purpose.

SEMI-FINALS WEEKEND! 💙💚🏀

What a weekend ahead for the Northside Nets, with a host of teams competing in Semi-Finals!

We’d love to see as many of our Nets families as possible down at South Pine Sports Complex this Saturday getting behind our players and bringing plenty of Nets energy to the sidelines.

Our U10 Boys will also be playing a Semi-Final at Northside Christian College, so make sure we give them plenty of support as well!

These players have worked hard all season and have earned their opportunity to compete this weekend.

Wear your Nets gear, bring the family and come cheer them on!

Let’s make sure our players know the whole Nets community is behind them.

🏀💙💚 Another day at Northside Mini-Hoops! 💚💙🏀

It is so awesome seeing our students grow as leaders and teachers, thriving in new territories and stepping outside their comfort zones. Sometimes the pathway to excellence isn’t found in being the best player in the gym — it’s found in serving others and helping them grow.

This program is about community, connection and joy.

Today’s focus was on shooting, but the real wins went far beyond baskets.

“The true measure of success is whether every child leaves more confident than when they arrived.”

Today we saw kids who have struggled to find success… find it.

Today we saw kids try new things… and love it.

Today we saw our older students discover more about themselves and experience the joy that comes from serving others.

To our Mini-Hoopers, families, student coaches and supporters — thank you. We are incredibly grateful for your support and for the relationships that continue to grow through this program.

What started as a basketball program is quickly becoming something much bigger — a place where confidence grows, friendships form, leadership develops and community thrives.

We are humbled by your presence and inspired by the vision of what this can become.

Can’t wait to introduce the next generation to the game of basketball.

🏀 MINI HOOPS IS BACK! 💙💚

Northside Nets Basketball are excited to launch another round of our MINI HOOPS program — the perfect introduction to basketball for young players aged 6–12!

Whether your child is brand new to the game or simply looking to build confidence, skills and friendships, this is an awesome opportunity to learn in a fun, safe and encouraging environment 🙌
