We are excited to announce that Joaquin Torres will be joining Gawler Eagles FC as our Junior Technical Director.

Joaquin brings extensive experience in junior football, having coached YCC and YSL teams at all levels.
He was recently responsible for the MiniRoos program at Tier 1 club Vipers FC in his role as Technical Director and also runs his own successful football academy.

In his new role, Joaquin will work closely with our Club Football Technical Director and Senior Coach Terry Frangakis and other senior coaching staff, with a specific focus on the growth and development of all players and working closely with our players and coaches from our U10 teams right through to our U16’s helping create a strong synergy and pathway for our junior players and providing valuable support and guidance to all our Junior coaches as well

Joaquins experience is enhanced by having played football in Chile, Argentina, England and Australia.
His local playing journey has included time with Vipers FC, Adelaide Victory, Demons and Titans.

We are thrilled to have Joaquin joining the Eagles as a TD and look forward to the benefit his experience, knowledge and passion will bring to our club as a whole

We’re excited to invite young players and their families to an exclusive online session with Believe and Achieve, focused on building the mental skills needed to perform with confidence — both on and off the pitch.

Led by Freddy, a qualified Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Positive Psychology practitioner and experienced performance coach, this session will give players practical tools to:

🧠 Stay calm and focused under pressure
💪 Bounce back from mistakes and setbacks
🎯 Build strong pre-game and trial routines
⚽ Develop confidence and a positive mindset
