Gawler & Districts Softball Association

Gawler & Districts Softball Association South Australian fastpitch softball association with teams throughout Gawler and the surrounding districts. Softball season runs from October to March.

Formed in 1982, GDSA is a fun, friendly association where members of all clubs can have a laugh whilst still playing competitive softball. GDSA has produced many players who have gone on to compete at high levels representing the region, the state, and even the country. All games are held on Saturdays at Karbeethan Reserve, Angle Vale Road, Evanston Gardens.

Anyone involved in our association knows just how much time, energy, and heart Giggs pours into softball. Whether it’s leading the GDSA, supporting clubs behind the scenes, organising competitions, answering countless messages, or stepping onto the diamond as an umpire or player, her dedication to our sport and community never stops.

Giggs’ passion, leadership, and commitment continue to make a lasting impact across our association and the wider softball community.
