So the lemon commodore #44 was repping MBR last night after feeling good at Easter weekend but unlucky to have so loose wiring melt and earth out on the exhaust. Trent was keen to get out there again on a late add in to the Lismore program for the last one of the season.
Trent started strong in heat 1 going from 4th to 1st and staying there, 2nd heat starting from p10, made up a few spots getting to 7th got caught up in traffic and took a little damage, straightened that up for heat 3 back out of P4- chasing Robert Grillo for the lead and finishing in 2nd by 0.2 of a second.

For the feature it was Trent that had the honours of the coin flip as for the first time, leading point scorer for the night. Tails would mean field was inverted, heads it remains as it is. Heads it was, so remain starting on pole.
Got off to a good start before Adam Grill capitalised on a Trent mistake going a little to high, Trent got back into the groove and continued on watching the Grill car continue to get away, and knowing everyone else would be right there ready to pounce. Finished the race in P2 between the Chargrilled cars and feeling pretty chuffed to have held out the rest of the quality drivers in the field.

Thanks to Mum, Dad and Dan for the support, Woodburn Mechanical, Zoe and Dylan was great to see you back out there. FSK Paint & Panel and Ben Daley Signs for what was my once nice looking car!! Always big thanks to Michelle and the kids for their support!!

We all but made it through the 3 days of getting dirty!!

Daniel finished the final in 5th for the final night after they gifted us an extra 10 laps up to 35 laps. Had a fair weekend really sticking with the pack for pace and exploring different lines on the track to gain more experience.

Trent pulled in after coming 2nd for a good chunk of the race with a few front runners not being there or having to retire early. After battling the gremlins for most of the weekend, Trent picked a heat win for heat 2, then felt like he was hitting the right rutty lines to be competitive in the feature. With 8 to run, the car lost power intermittently for a full lap before he pulled in- today the discovery of some more burnt out wiring, ending the night and taking away what was one of the best chances for podium this season.....

Daniel is locked into the orange #45 and will be representing MBR at Grafton tonight- after missing the last meeting as a late add in to the program, then working on some gremlins this week, thanks to Dad and Woodburn Mechanical, he is keen to turn some laps and go hammer down. We'll head back to Grafton for racing day 3 of 3, both cars still going, a nice catch on Dan's #45 after heat 3 we heard a hissing of a split radiator hose, tidied that up for the feature or it may have been a different story!! We will be joined by the other 2 Morgan's tonight which is always cool to do, all turning laps!!

The track gave us plenty to navigate last night, but we just keep learning. In the shortened feature it was no different.
