The Evandale Panthers Cricket club would like to extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt well wishes to everyone affected by the recent tragedy in Nepal.

Nepal holds a special place at our club. We have welcomed a number of Nepalese players into the Panthers family over the years. They have contributed not only on the field, but also to the friendships, culture and spirit that makes our club what it is.

To all Nepalese Panthers, their families, friends, as well as the wider Nepalese community, we stand with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we wish strength, comfort and hope to everyone in Nepal.

It is with great sadness that the Evandale Panthers Cricket Club acknowledges the recent passing of Margaret Cawe.

Margaret was the much-loved mother of former Panthers player and Bar Manager Dave Cawe and will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

On behalf of everyone at the Evandale Panthers Cricket Club, we extend our sincere condolences to Dave and the entire Cawe family during this difficult time.

Our thoughts are with you all as you remember and celebrate Margaret's life.

Junior Cricket Expressions of Interest

The Evandale Panthers Cricket Club is excited to be exploring the possibility of launching junior cricket for the 2026/27 season.

This is the next step for our club, and we would love to hear from families who may be interested in getting involved.

We understand that times are tough for many families at the moment, so the club is pleased to announce that we have successfully secured funding to help ensure the cost to families will be kept very minimal.

Depending on the level of interest, we will look to enter either an Under 12 or Under 14 team.

Games are likely to be played on Friday afternoons from 4:30pm, starting in early November.

EVANDALE PANTHERS WELCOME OUR NEW CLUB PATRON

The Evandale Panthers Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Nick Duigan MLC has accepted our invitation to become the Club Patron for the 2026/27 season.

Nick has long been a passionate supporter of community sport across Tasmania and understands the vital role local sporting clubs play in bringing communities together, developing young people, and creating lifelong friendships. We are excited to have his support as we continue to grow both on and off the field.

As we look towards an exciting season ahead and we are grateful to have someone of Nick's experience and passion advocating for our club.

Following last night's Annual General Meeting, we are pleased to announce the Evandale Panthers Cricket Club Committee for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

We would also like to sincerely thank our outgoing committee members for their dedication, time and effort in supporting the club. The continued success of the Panthers would not be possible without the contributions of those who volunteer behind the scenes.

A special thank you must go to Josh Crase, who has been a driving force behind the club since the amalgamation and has served on the committee continuously since that time. Josh's passion, commitment and countless hours of work have played a significant role in helping shape the Evandale Panthers into the club it is today. While he may be stepping away from the committee, we would like to thank him for everything he has done for the Panthers over the years.
