EVANDALE PANTHERS WELCOME OUR NEW CLUB PATRON

The Evandale Panthers Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Nick Duigan MLC has accepted our invitation to become the Club Patron for the 2026/27 season.

Nick has long been a passionate supporter of community sport across Tasmania and understands the vital role local sporting clubs play in bringing communities together, developing young people, and creating lifelong friendships. We are excited to have his support as we continue to grow both on and off the field.

As we look towards an exciting season ahead and we are grateful to have someone of Nick's experience and passion advocating for our club.

On behalf of everyone at the Evandale Panthers Cricket Club, we warmly welcome Nick to the Panthers family and look forward to working together throughout the 2026/27 season.

🏏 Evandale Panthers Cricket Club – 2026/27 Committee Announcement 🏏

Following last night's Annual General Meeting, we are pleased to announce the Evandale Panthers Cricket Club Committee for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

We would like to warmly welcome all new and returning committee members and thank them for putting their hands up to help continue the growth and success of our club. With another exciting season ahead, we look forward to building on the momentum of recent years both on and off the field.

We would also like to sincerely thank our outgoing committee members for their dedication, time and effort in supporting the club. The continued success of the Panthers would not be possible without the contributions of those who volunteer behind the scenes.

A special thank you must go to Josh Crase, who has been a driving force behind the club since the amalgamation and has served on the committee continuously since that time. Josh's passion, commitment and countless hours of work have played a significant role in helping shape the Evandale Panthers into the club it is today. While he may be stepping away from the committee, we would like to thank him for everything he has done for the Panthers over the years.

🏏 TCL Female Boom Grand Finals – This Sunday! 🏆

Morven Park, Evandale is the place to be this Sunday 22nd March as we host a massive day of women’s cricket to close out the TCL Female Boom season.

The day gets underway at 11:00am with the Division 2 Grand Final, Diggers Cricket Club - who have been the benchmark side all season finishing on top of the ladder, take on an exciting and fast-rising Perth Cricket Club outfit, featuring in a Grand Final in just their second year in the competition. It’s a fantastic story on both sides and shapes as a brilliant contest.

At 2:00pm, the spotlight turns to the Division 1 decider, with the two standout teams of the season, Bracknell Cricket Club and GTCC Tamar Saints, going head-to-head once again. This will be their fourth clash of the season, with Bracknell holding a narrow 2–1 edge, setting up what promises to be a high-quality and fiercely contested Grand Final.

🎟️ RAFFLE ALERT!
Make sure you grab a ticket in our raffle, with first prize being a signed Hobart Hurricanes BBL13 shirt, generously supplied by Cricket Tasmania. Due to logistical reasons the shirt won’t be available on the day, but it will be provided to the lucky winner very shortly after the event.

Bring your friends and family, support some outstanding local talent, and enjoy a fantastic day of cricket.

🏏 TCL Premier League Grand Final – This Saturday! 🏆

Cricket fans, it all comes down to this!

Join us at Morven Park, Evandale this Saturday 21st March from 11am as the TCL Premier League season reaches its thrilling finale.

Hadspen Cricket Club head into the decider chasing back-to-back premierships, but standing in their way is a confident Trevallyn Cricket Club Inc. outfit who will take plenty of belief from their win over Hadspen just a fortnight ago to secure a direct path into the Grand Final.

Expect a cracking contest between two quality sides with plenty on the line!
