Car has been assembled following our incident at Toowoomba to make room for new cars.

We have never raced this car, was purchased as a package deal when we first started late model racing. This is NOT the car that crashed at Toowoomba.

Excellent package to get into this awesome class of racing!

Race report from Queensland over the weekend.

Saturday night we headed to Toowoomba Speedway excited to take on the high banks for the first time.

Heat 1 started out of P12 finishing in P6 with the race being cut short and unfortunately that was the end of the night with the rain setting in for the night.

The next day we headed up to Kingaroy Speedway for the Street Stock 20/20 teaming up with Jeno from Wilson motorsports .

Heat 1 for Lucas started out of P7, crossed the line in 5th but was penalised 2 positions for nudging another car that wasn’t really sure which lane they wanted.

Heat 1 for Jeno, started out of P7 and finished in P3 with a very smart drive.

Heat 2 for Lucas, started out of P4 and after a good side by side race finished in P3.

Heat 2 for Jeno, started from P3 and got the lead early after the pole car misunderstood the concepts of green lights. Jeno crossed the finish line first but was penalised 2 spots for a jump start.

That put us out of P6 for the final. Jeno drove exceptionally smart finishing in P3 for the first half. After a quick driver change Lucas jumped back in for the last 20 laps, starting from P3. Had a great battle for the lead until an electrical failure caused the fans to stop working and unfortunately that caused the engine to boiling point which ended the night on the infield and has also unfortunately ended our Queensland campaign earlier than we hoped.

Once again thank you to all our hard working crew throughout the night Payton, Trev, Phil, Wendy and Paul.

A massive thank you goes out to Alex Sweeney and his family for the hospitality today allowing us to wash the car and work out our problems.

Now we head home to regroup and rebuild the engine and go again next year.🏁

Minimal results from Lucas’s debut at Toowoomba last night. Unfortunately only one heat of the streeties was completed due to the heavens opening up and washing the meeting away.
He started in 11th and finished 7th.

The car is in good condition today ready for the 20/20 co driver race tonight at Kingaroy with Jensen Wilson joining us as guest driver.

As always the pizza’s from the tuck shop at Toowoomba speedway were on point, especially served from the bonnet of the race car 🤣🍕

Thank you to the promoters of the track for making us very welcome. We will be back for sure.

Today we had the opportunity to repay our crew member Michael for all of his help and commitment to our team over the speedway season as he had some fun at the Launceston Kart Club, putting his vintage go kart through its paces.

Ellis’s fitness levels were tested by a lot of push starting the kart, but he survived and was only too happy to help out 🏃

It was an enjoyable day in the sunshine for the team and our mascot Dusty 🦮.
