Perrett Off Road Racing is a family based racing team of Alben and Helen Perrett. Their daughter Amy Perrett with Lincoln Staude navigating will be taking on the Australian Off Road Championship in the Production 4WD class driving their Nissan Patrol. Their son Brent Perrett and his wife Arlene will be competing in their first year of off road racing driving a Polaris XP1000. The team would like t

The two Perrett Off Road Racing cars unfortunately had an unsuccesful weekend at the Albins ARB Goondiwindi 400. Brent and Arlene running the 6644 Polaris DNF both the prologue and main race with engine troubles. Amy and Lincoln in the 701 Patrol had a good run in prologue even with a broken front axle they still managed to place second in class. During the single lap on Saturday the crew had to stop and fit a power steering belt at the 35km mark, they were then able to finish the section. On Sunday due to the slow lap time from Saturday the team started well down the field. Whilst making their way up through the field passing many cars, Amy and Lincoln were once again in 2WD due to a drivetrain failure. The 701 Patrol and it's team were unfortunately forced to retired after braking out the front shock mounts.

Look out guys... the dust has been blown off and the spiders chased out! Brent and Arlene have decided to take car 6644 for one more lap around the track! Bring on the Goondiwindi 400 this weekend! We hope to see a bunch of you there for a catch up! Hopefully they haven't forgotten what they have to do......

A disappointing and frustrating weekend for the team as their engine belts kept failing. Amy and Lincoln only made it to the 5km mark today when the belts let them down again. Not being able to correct the fault in time, the team regretfully pulled out of the event. One positive from the weekend was receiving the 'Hard Luck' award for not finishing any sections today. Thanks to Dirtcomp Magazine for the award, it was greatly appreciated.

Prologue done for day one, not the best finish for the 701 Patrol. Amy and Lincoln began their lap well but half way lost their steering belts, which forced them to a slower pace however they were still able to finish the section and place third in class.

Perrett Off Road Racing will be arriving in Walkerie today. They saw a nice icy morning this morning as they rose and continued heading further south. Amy and Lincoln are excited to hit this awesome track and compete against some of the best competition in Australia. Today finished well for Amy and Darren as they brought home the 701 Production 4WD in 2nd place at the Sea Lake Mallee Rally 400 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Series. The car drove well with no major issues and will now get ready for the next round at Waikerie.

Amy and Darren had a great run in prologue today at the Sea Lake Mallee Rally 400. The 701 Patrol placed 2nd in class and the team are looking forward to the 400 kilometres of racing tomorrow.
