Note to self: Don’t play chicken with a tree while driving! Thanks to all for the Well Wishes and support! Just so everyone knows, Peta and the kids weren’t in the car. The good news the kangaroo lived, the bad news, the Captiva didn’t! I’m a big believer in signs and always helping people to slow down and give time to themselves. The universe was sending me a message to slow down and take a moment to breath, (Yes, even I forget sometimes🤦🏿‍♂️). Broken bones will heal, and I’m already on the mend. Big thanks to my clients for moving their session for me. See you all tomorrow! Morale of the story: Slow down, or you will be forced to slow down! 🤦🏿‍♂️ Thanks wifey .gois. And big thanks to and for lending me a car! Don’t know how we would function with out you both. thanks for the help this morning!

The thing I love most about being a PT is that I’m always in the trenches with my clients. We grow together, laughing, learning and yes even sometimes crying. But it’s always together! At the soul of me, that’s who I am. Someone that wants to bring others to the best they can be, and see how strong they are.

As a person you grow and never stop learning. As a coach it’s much the same. My passion comes from building and developing knowledge in others. Teaching is an art! (respect to all teachers) because everyone has a different way of learning. As a coach we are teachers who develop the craft over a long time. And as a good coach I never want to stop learning or teaching!

Some awesome news for all the parents out there.
I have been able to locate a temporary location in Macksville.
As such I have set up 2 sessions a week for Parent classes.
The classes will start at 10am.
The cost will be $20 per person, and will be limited to 5 people per session.
The sessions are listed below:
10am Monday
10:30am Wednesday

Hello Team,

This week seems to have been the week for many of my clients. “No motivation”, “To cold”, “My bed is better than you!”
I get it! Trust me, I do. I’m human like many of you. And some days are harder than others. But I wanted to share this quote I saw on :
“Training is like moving a big pile of dirt. Some days you have a shovel. Some days you get a spoon, (or even a fork at times). As long as your moving a little dirt everyday, you’re heading towards your goal.”

So no matter what, just focus on moving some dirt. This can apply to life. There are good days and bad days. We just need to focus on moving the dirt!

Hey Team,

Happy Friday. Today I felt like sharing some content on food. I find that the most common question I get asked is “What should I be eating?”
Now my first response is always “What are you trying to achieve with your food?”

Now let me share with all of you why this is such an important question.
Firstly the truth is, that for 95% of us regular folks, we aren’t training to become Australia’s Next Top Model or Compete at the next Arnold Classic. Our main reason why comes down to feeling healthier and happier in ourselves.

This is important because as a Coach, I never want to use food as a weapon.
To many of us are looking for approval to eat or not eat.
Here is the mindset I’m talking about: “I worked really hard, ok I can eat that food now”
Or
“Crap! I didn’t push myself enough. Nope, can’t eat that”
Why? Food isn’t a weapon, it’s nutrition, it’s fuel. It’s not good or bad.

As a Coach I love helping people adopt the “Swap It” Mentality.
I’ll share some more insight into this mentality next week team!
