π Congratulations to EDNA Umpires Jayda Young and Sarah Arrowsmith! π
The Essendon District Netball Association is incredibly proud to congratulate Jayda Young and Sarah Arrowsmith on their recent appointments to umpire SSN Reserves matches during the current season.
Jayda took the court in an SSN Reserves fixture two weekends ago, while Sarah achieved a significant milestone on Saturday, umpiring her very first SSN Reserves game.
Many within our association will know Jayda through her ongoing work mentoring and supervising our developing umpires across EDNA competitions. Her passion for helping the next generation of umpires improve their skills continues to make a lasting impact on our umpiring program.
Sarahβs journey is a fantastic example of the opportunities available within our association. Having started her umpiring career at EDNA, Sarah progressed through the pathway to achieve her C Badge before advancing to her current A Badge accreditation. She now regularly officiates championship-level matches across the VNL and continues to challenge herself at the highest levels of the game.
Both Jayda and Sarah have also represented their states at the National Netball Championships over the past two years, demonstrating their commitment, professionalism, and excellence in umpiring.
We congratulate both women on this outstanding achievement and look forward to supporting them as they continue to develop, challenge themselves, and strive to be the very best umpires they can be.
Well done, Jayda and Sarah! ππ€β€οΈ
