Well done to all our WMP/SAN athletes who competed in the 50m events at the Metro All Junior Competition on the weekend.
Participation alone was a fine achievement, with swimmers having to finish in the top 10 at the Metro West selection trials back in March, but many on our team didn't stop there.
We had a team of 43 athletes competing in 127 semi-final swims on Saturday, with 18 athletes going through to compete in 36 finals races, with personal bests across many of those swims 👏👏
Congratulations to our entire team on a great meet, a promising sign of things to come. Thank you also to our families for supporting, and coaches Guy and Will for their assistance during the meet 💚🖤

A huge thank you to all of our WMP & SAN family who attended our 12th annual club championships last night!

It’s always special when swimmers from our various sites come together, and last night was no exception. Swimmers ranged from our future stars starting their competitive journey, all the way through to our open athletes striving for success at Olympic trials. Even some of our coaches decided to dust off the goggles and join in on the 2x50m relay to cap off the night! The environment was awesome to experience, with athletes young and old engaged in laughter and encouragement.

Thanks again to everyone who helped make the event possible, be it through helping organise, competing or cheering.

We hope everyone had a wonderful time, and we hope to see everyone again soon 🖤💚

Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed in the Metro Junior District Competition today at MSAC!

Nikita Chew, Alexander David, Mason Do, Emily Proctor, Xavier Terbogt, Amelie Dior Velichkovski, Edward Robert Velichkovski, Iñigo Villegas & Lola Weddell did a fantastic job representing Metro West. They managed to combine for a total of 10 PBs, a huge achievement given that most of those personal bests were only set 2 weeks ago!

Congratulations to all SAN/Propulsion athletes who competed today at the Metro West Junior District Selection Trials in Broadmeadows. The competition is for swimmers aged 8-11, with the top 10 swimmers in each event today advancing to the Swimming Victoria Junior District Competition at MSAC on Saturday October 28th.

Congratulations to all who competed on a day that saw many PBs, and special shoutout to our top 10 finishers (listed below), who get to represent the Metro West District in 3 weeks' time.

Wishing our best to Audreanna David (state squad) and Samuel Scodella (national age squad), who have been selected to represent Victoria at the School Sport Australia Swimming Championships in Sydney from August 22-29.

Congratulations to Samuel (pictured second from left) who was chosen as the boys captain!

The team also features 2 of our Propulsion team members from MSAC, Victoria's girls captain Chiara Hutchinson (pictured second from the right) and Campbell Wilson-Moran.
