As it approaches the lawn bowls pennant season, the Aberfeldie Bowls Club will have among its pennant players, club life member, stalwart, and multiple club champion Fred Sinclair. It will be Sinclair's 51st season as a pennant player at Aberfeldie, meaning he is approaching 1000 games played for the club. Now well into his ninth decade, Sinclair was also a highly respected professional runner and won the Burramine Gift in 1953 and 1954.
