Vale Vena Situlia-Tuifao
It is with heavy hearts that the Bendigo Fighting Miners acknowledge the sudden passing of our brother and former premiership player, Vena Situlia-Tuifao.
Vena was one of those players blessed with incredible natural talent. His speed, strength and ability on the rugby field were something special, and when Vena had the ball in his hands, you knew something was going to happen.
But as talented as he was on the field, it was the person he was off it that will be remembered most. Respectful, hardworking and caring, Vena was a loyal friend, a brother to many and will always be part of the Miners family.
Vena will forever be remembered as a Bendigo Fighting Miners premiership player, a teammate, a brother and a great mate to many.
Our deepest love and condolences go out to Vena’s family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
