Tested out the Openroad4wd winch under moderate load this weekend in Tallarook State Forest with Andrew Bushell

This winch is top quality and performed flawlessly.

On a 20 degree hill the winch pulled the Shark up dead weight in neutral without any change to cable temperature or loss of power.

We still have more testing to do in more extreme conditions but we are confident at this point that a winch wired in without a second battery will get you out of trouble without causing problems.

A huge thanks to Tradesman 4x4 who installed this at short notice on a public holiday. They are a top crew and very friendly people. Check them out!

Samples of fender flares by Axiom (T-Rex shield protection’s premium brand) have finally landed!

Thought we’d give you a sneak peak.

These flares widen the wheel arch by 35mm-40mm.

Please keep in mind these are first samples and the colour and fit are now being tweaked to perfection to fit th shark seamlessly.

Pre-orders will open very soon with first batch expcted in November!
