Our A1 team (team 1) faced a much younger but highly talented side from North Epping Rangers today.

It was a classy and competitive game of netball with both teams showcasing why they are among the top sides in the competition. The skill, intensity and determination and display made for an exciting contest from start to finish.

While the young NER team challenged us every step of the way and made our girls work hard for every goal, experience ultimately proved the difference on this occasion with St Andrews securing a 44-34 victory.

A great game to finish off round 4.

Our 14-15/2’s (team 11) took on OLMC today.

Teamwork was on show today with these girls. They contributed to the win with great ball skills, smothering defence, precise shooting and backing each other up.

Well done team. Great win.

Final score 21-14.

After the week that was, it was nice to see the sunshine reappear for us today to complete round 4 under clear skies.

There were some nail biter games and a couple of blow out scores too, but we all get to rest and recharge with no games next weekend due to the NSW senior state championships.

See you all back on court for round 5 on the 13th June.

This week’s Tips & Tricks is all about how, when and why to approach an umpire during a match.

You are also welcome to speak with our Umpire Convenor, Sheree, who is usually around the courts on Saturdays and is more than happy to discuss any rule or umpiring-related questions.

If you can’t find Sheree, head to the Umpires Table at any time throughout the day and speak with one of the ERNA Umpire Committee members, who can provide further information about the rules and how they are applied.

This Saturday 30th May 2026 volunteers from the Salvation Army will be walking around the courts to collect your generous donations for the annual Red Shield Appeal.

Every 17 seconds the Salvation Army in Australia helps someone in need. The compounded impact of the financial and social events of the past few years means homelessness is fast becoming the reality for an increasing number of individuals and families including more employed Australians.

The Salvation Army has walked alongside Australians for over 140 years – providing shelter, safety and support to those in need.

Please give generously.

The fixtures for round four are here.

We have quite a few teams acting as the “home” team this weekend, so make sure those blue highlighted teams collect the scoreboard before your game.

Every team is playing this Saturday, so it will be a busy weekend for the club. Why not come down early and cheer on one of our junior teams, or stay after your game to watch the older teams in action.

Best of luck to all teams. Play well but play fair.
