Here is your chance to try wildwater! Do you already paddle a kayak. Have you always wanted to try whitewater? Come and join us on March 15 and 16 to learn to paddle a wildwater kayak.
Learn new skills, learn river reading, learn race skills, meet new people. We have limited places for our Beginner camp so get in early to register. Register via email – [email protected]
Gear will be supplied for beginners. There are no costs involved.

The development camp is for intermediate paddlers, and will be focused on learning better technique, boat propulsion, advanced river readying and how to apply this to your race runs. Registrations will also be needed for this camp – register using the above email address.

Group 1 – beginner wildwater
Boat handling, edging and basic moving water

Group 2 – forward stroke technique inc video review

Other topics – nuances of river reading
How to get the best out of your lines / fastest lines

2pm – Short river run / recon for race @ griffiths
Both groups

March 16 @ Griffiths
Start 9.30am
Short classic race – Sweenys to below Griffiths ( or Westerfolds)
Timed ( hand held timing)
