Wolves in numbers
Thirteen former Everton Wolves Juniors lined up for the Tigers Senior team yesterday with the debut of Sam Craigie and Olly Reeves.
The Tigers are enjoying the relationship with the Wolves as much as they ever have with the local content in the senior team at an all time high in 2026. The all important week to week points for the Tigers has not exceeded 29 this year out of a maximum allowable 45 all coming back to the Everton and Mayne Juniors in the squad.
Assistant Coach Sean Doolan was rightly pleased to see another one of the boys he coached at Everton in Sam Craigie making his debut making five now.

It's been terrific to have the physio's from Allsports Physiotherapy, The Gap this year. Yesterday we had Physio Matt Gouveia preparing the teams and looking after any potential injuries. Jamie Ivers is about to get strapped for the big clash with the Sandgate Hawks.

The Tigers enjoyed a strong win over the Sandgate Hawks in the seniors yesterday at Lemke Road, but the Reserves just snatched victory at the death in their early game. The Women also had a close one in the late game against the Hawks to just go down while the Thirds battled hard in the wet on Friday night to go down to the Aspley Hornets. Two big events coming up in less than a fortnight with the Murdoch Campbell Golf Classic and Ladies Day.
