Turns out, it can do a little more than get you through that morning slump. When it comes to exercise, caffeine can have some pretty useful effects on your training too 💪

💪 Improved endurance
🧠 More focus
😮‍💨 And it can make hard exercise feel a little less… well, HARD

But there is a catch 👇

Caffeine isn’t magic, and more isn’t better.

The right amount at the right time can be useful. Too much? Hello shaky hands, racing heart and absolutely no chance of falling asleep tonight 😴

Can’t do your first pull up yet?

Stop just jumping on the bar and hoping for the best. Instead, build the strength you need with:

🏋️‍♂️ Scapular pull ups - learn to control you shoulders
⬇️ Negative pull ups - control the lowering phase
💪 Assisted pull ups - practice the full movement
🔥 Pull up - cue: elbows to ribs

Focus on controlled reps, good technique and gradual progression. Your first pull up will come!

Save this for your next back day and send it to someone working towards their first rep 👊

There was a time when Wendy would sit outside Anytime Fitness Grafton while her son trained, not quite ready to walk through the doors herself.

Then one day, she watched other members heading in and thought, "Surely I can do that too."

So, she did. 💜

As a breast cancer survivor who had also been struggling with her mental health and anxiety, taking that first step wasn't easy. But after meeting coach Annie and finding her place within the AF Grafton community, Wendy kept coming back.

Since then, she's built her strength, fitness and balance, but it's the change in her confidence and wellbeing that she's most proud of.

And now? Wendy is the one encouraging others to keep showing up too!

Big shoutout to Nathan 🏃🔥

Nathan set himself a goal of running the Sunshine Coast half marathon in 1:45 and absolutely SMASHED it, finishing in 1:40 with an average pace of 4:44min/km!! 👏

What makes it even better? He’s not stopping there. Nathan is already chasing his next goal… a full marathon! 👀

We love seeing our members set big goals, put in the work and then go out and smash them. Well done Nathan, onto the next one! 💪
