To all the mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and nurturers in our community—Happy Mother’s Day.

In the practice of yoga, Shakti is the primordial cosmic energy that represents the dynamic, creative, and nurturing forces of the universe. Today, we honour the ways you embody that energy every day, both on and off the mat.

Motherhood, in all its forms, is perhaps the ultimate "off-the-mat" yoga practice. It requires the patience of a seated meditation, the strength of a Warrior pose, and the surrender of a deep Savasana.

We know that "nurturing the nurturer" often falls to the bottom of the to-do list. This weekend, we invite you to reclaim a moment of stillness just for yourself. Whether it’s five minutes of mindful breathing or a full sixty-minute flow this Saturday at 8:30am, remember that you cannot pour from an empty cup.

A Breath for You

If you can’t make it to the studio, take sixty seconds for this simple heart-centering practice:
💛Place one hand over your heart and one on your belly.
💛Inhale deeply, feeling your chest expand with self-compassion.
💛Exhale fully, releasing the pressure to be "perfect".
💛Repeat. I am grounded. I am enough. I am at peace.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new $10 Community Gentle Flow Class! We believe that the centering benefits of yoga should be accessible to everyone, and this special class is designed to remove barriers and invite everyone in the community to the mat.
During this class you can expect breath-work, simple and easeful movements, relaxation and meditation.
Beginners are welcome.
