Hi everyone!
As you know we’re due to begin swimming lessons again from tomorrow afternoon.
Our QR code system is no longer required and mask wearing 😷 isn’t compulsory.
I think everyone’s familiar with the routine of distancing and personal space; do please be kind and considerate to one other and I’m sure things will flow relatively smoothly.
I’ll be keeping the sliding gate open for the foreseeable future, so please keep an eye on your little ones when exiting. The narrow laneway is a public road - please be careful!!!
As always, please keep children away from the glass pool entry/exit gate. Hanging, swinging or pushing the gate back on its hinges, or playing with the open/close mechanism won’t be tolerated. The gate is the only safe access in and out of the pool. If it’s damaged or broken our insurance will become void ( and Mr. Scott will become very cranky 🐉🐊🦖!!!).
Finally the weather bureau has painted a rather gloomy picture for the days ahead. We cancel lessons only if it’s deemed absolutely necessary. Our heated pool is fully enclosed to the elements, both above and surrounds; the issue is more around parents/carers driving in inclement weather conditions.
As it’s now halfway through the school/swimming term, and if I do cancel lessons ( ie on a day-by-day basis) we’ll issue a few options for those who have had lesson/s cancelled:
• The lesson can be deducted from your Term 2 swimming invoice
• We can issue a refund to your banking account for the cancellation ( requiring you to forward me your banking details - which will be deleted after the completed transaction)
• Organise a makeup lesson ( these are subject to availability. Our makeup lesson period begins Wednesday March 16. Availability cannot be 100% guaranteed as our program occupancy is always very high with little room to manoeuvre).
I think that’s just about everything...!
Stay safe & well all. Hope to see you all from tomorrow afternoon.
Cheers,
SPLASH
