Grand Final Day 2026 💙💛

Four Bays teams took to the court yesterday. Two came home premiers. And every one of them gave us so much to be proud of.

U11 Div 2s led the whole way, playing with courage and confidence and some amazing teamwork. In a heart-stopping finish, they were beaten right on the siren. 💙💛

Senior 4s - what a season from this team. They’ve been outstanding all year. Yesterday wasn’t their day, but one result doesn’t take anything away from the season they’ve had. 💙💛

Senior 5s - what a game! A brilliant, hard-fought Grand Final against Willunga that could have gone either way but the Bays dug deep, held on and came out on top! 💙💛

Senior 7s were simply untouchable yesterday! They took control against McLaren Vale from the outset and never looked back. This team has been an absolute force all year and they finished it exactly that way! 💙💛

To our players, umpires, coaches, team managers, families, supporters and everyone who has been part of this incredible season - THANK YOU.

What a special club we have 🥹

Good luck today to our U11 Div 2s, S4s, S5s and S7s 👏

Whatever the day brings, you’re all legends and everyone is invited back to the footy clubrooms to celebrate the season with us.

🥂 Bar open from 5pm

No meals tonight, drinks available to purchase.

💛💙 This week, GSNA journeys to MOUNT COMPASS for the 2026 GF!

A little housekeeping:

💰 Gate Prices:
Adults $7
Concession $5
Under 18s free

🚗 No vehicle access between the netball courts and the back of the football clubrooms

☕️ The Brew Box will be serving coffee all day from the back of the footy club

💇🏻‍♀️The local pre-school will have a stall at the entrance to the courts - think team colours, glitter and face paint!

🌭 Hot food will be served out of the footy canteen

🧋Drinks and lollies will be served out of the netball canteen

🎾 The tennis courts are available for team warm up - please note these are still in the process of being finished. There are no goal posts but plenty of room to run and pass. Please be careful through the middle of the courts as the tennis holes/with covers have just been put in - please try and avoid this strip.

🧹 Please don’t leave rubbish on the courts

🍬 No chewing gum! It’s difficult to remove from the courts

📣 We love seeing everyone’s banners but be mindful of where they’re hung so you don’t block anyone’s view.

🐶 No dogs on or near court area

🧍🏻No standing allowed between court 2 and 3

🥂 Strictly no BYO alcohol as the precinct is a licensed area

🍷 Bar will be open inside the footy club, no alcohol beyond this point.

Four Bays teams are heading to Mt Compass this Saturday to play for the big one! 🙌

We’d love to see plenty of blue and gold on the sidelines, cheering on our teams.

To all our players, coaches and support crews - enjoy every minute and leave it all out there.

💙💛 A pretty special haul for the Bays at last night’s GSNA Senior Awards presentations.

From Best & Fairest placings across our senior grades, to Coach of the Year, an Umpire Achievement Award and the Nanette Phillips Shield 🛡️ there’s plenty for our club to be proud of.

A special mention to Lucy Ray, who came back to netball this season after 20 years away from the court… and finished as Senior 5 Best & Fairest joint winner. Not a bad comeback! 👏

Congratulations to every one of you and thank you to every EBNC member for the part you’ve played in a brilliant 2026 season for the Bays! 💙💛

A day of close games, huge efforts and plenty of heart from our Bays teams.

A special shoutout to our amazing U11 Div 1, U13 Div 2 and U13 Div 3 teams, whose seasons have come to an end. Making it this far is a huge achievement and we are all so proud of your efforts 💙💛

And now… FOUR BAYS TEAMS ARE GRAND FINAL BOUND! 🙌

Congratulations to U11 Div 2 and Senior 5 who will be joining Senior 4 and Senior 7 in next weekend’s Grand Final at Mount Companss.
