🙌 EXCITING NEWS! Capricorn Coast Swimming Clubs are offering a FREE Come and Try week for all junior aged swimmers. 🏊🏻‍♀️

🙌 DID YOU KNOW? - Swimming offers young people a powerful, full-body workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, builds muscle strength, and increases lung capacity. Beyond physical health, it enhances brain development through coordinated movement, boosts mental well-being by releasing endorphins, and serves as a vital, life-saving skill. It is also a WHOLE LOT FUN! 🤩

🙌 We have a variety of options for differing levels of ability and confidence, and would love to see you down at the new Capricorn Coast Aquatic Centre to have some fun! 🥳

🏊‍♂️🎉 What an incredible day for swimming on the Capricorn Coast! 🎉🏊‍♀️

🥰 Our Cap Coast swimming clubs were proud to be part of the official opening celebrations of the new Capricorn Coast Aquatic Centre, and what a fantastic way to mark this exciting milestone for our community!

🤩 A highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Celebrity Race, where our swimmers had a blast competing alongside some familiar faces. There were plenty of smiles, laughs, friendly competition, and memories made that will last a long time! 🏅😄

🙌 A special shout out to our local businesses who supported our BBQ - FoodWorks Cedar Park, Drakes Emu Park, Yeppoon Central Meats, Coles Yeppoon. Thank you for your kindness and generosity! Your support continues to enable opportunities for our swimming community.

☺️ We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Matt Canavan, Adam Belot and Pat Eastwood for taking the time to meet with members of our clubs, chat with our swimmers and families, and share in the excitement of what this outstanding facility means for the future of swimming on the Coast.

🤩 A special thank you also to Jacob from ABC Capricornia, who took the time to speak with some of our swimmers about the positive impact the new 50-metre pool will have on developing future athletes, increasing participation opportunities, and strengthening our community for years to come.

🏊🏻‍♀️ This facility represents so much more than a pool. It is a place where friendships will be formed, goals will be achieved, confidence will grow, and future champions will be inspired. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a role in bringing this vision to life.

Here’s to the next chapter of swimming on the Capricorn Coast — we can’t wait to see what our swimmers achieve in this amazing new home! 💙💛🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
