Friendly Reminder for our Emerald Junior Tigers Club:

Most of us received communication from QRL this week regarding photography and videography at junior rugby league events. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the expectations and help us keep our players safe.

🏉 If you're unsure whether filming is appropriate – don't film.

🏉 No filming or photography in private areas such as change rooms, toilets, or showers.

🏉 Always respect the privacy, safety, and comfort of all children.

🏉 Any concerns regarding filming or photography should be raised with a Club Official.

Good Practice Expectations

✅ Use the Community Rugby League Photography/Videography Consent Form when images may be shared beyond personal use.

✅ Respect parent or guardian decisions regarding consent.

✅ Listen to children – if a child is uncomfortable being filmed or photographed, this should be taken seriously.

✅ Speak up and act promptly if something doesn't feel right.

What is generally allowed?

📷 Filming or photographing matches and activities in open public areas, such as playing fields, is generally acceptable.

📷 Parents and carers may record their own child's participation for personal use, provided it is done respectfully and does not disrupt others.

At Emerald Tigers JRL, protecting our players is everyone's responsibility.
