🏏 JUNIOR REGISTRATION REMINDER 🏏

Junior cricket is nearly here!

If your child is planning to play with the Magpies this season, please complete their registration as soon as possible. We’ll be finalising our teams shortly and need to make sure everyone is included.

Whether they’re returning for another season or picking up a bat for the first time, we’d love to have them join us!

Please register as soon as you can, and get in touch if you have any questions or need help with registration. 🏏

🏏 JUNIOR REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Our 2026/27 Junior Season is almost here!

Fees remain the same as last season and include the CHCI Registration Fee, Magpies Volunteer Levy and your Magpies playing jersey. Cricket Australia NRF and PlayHQ service fees are charged separately.

The Volunteer Levy applies once per family and is refunded once the required volunteer hours are completed.

Don’t forget to use your Play On! Sports Voucher.

🏏 A few of our Magpies girls headed to Rockhampton this weekend for the Bulls Masters Female Coaching Clinic!

A great opportunity for the girls to learn a few new skills, have some fun and even meet Bonnie Berry! 🤩

The girls also get to keep access to their footage from the day, along with a written assessment they can take away and use to keep working on their cricket.

A big thank you to Bulls Masters and Queensland Cricket & Coaches for the opportunity and for giving our regional girls experiences like this! ❤️

🏏 CONGRATULATIONS AVA!

One of our Junior Magpies is off to Nationals! 🥳

Ava, along with three of our other Magpies girls (Ella, N'Kysha & Quorra), recently competed at the State Championships representing Wide Bay. We’re very excited to announce that Ava was selected to represent Queensland at the School Sport Australia Cricket Championships in Newcastle this October! 🏏

Ava will be doing some fundraising over the coming weeks to help get her to Newcastle, so keep an eye out for some great raffles and fundraisers!

Congratulations Ava — your Magpies family is behind you! ❤️

Coach Brett really is our jack of all trades! 😂🏏

When he’s not running late to Cricket Blast 😜, coaching our Blasters, Junior players, CQ players and QLD players, you’ll find him out at EPIC AllSports looking after our fields too.

Mower going, wheelbarrow in hand, getting the job done… all while playing a very risky game of chicken with the sprinkler. 💦🤣

Judging by this photo, the sprinkler was winning. 😂

All jokes aside, Coach Brett gives up so much of his time for our players, our grounds and our club, and so much of what he does happens behind the scenes.

Thanks Coach Brett for everything you do — we really do appreciate you! ❤️🏏
