Monday night have about 30 players who are enjoying a timed tennis comp during Term 1 & Term 2. The 15min sets have been a lot of fun to get the party started quickly and the switching of doubles partners brought about pairings that might not have happened.
The flexi approach supported players who juggle work rosters, school assignments and life in general. The goal was to bring tennis back into their lives without the obligation to commit every week to a team. The Club is so proud of your efforts.
Their individual games were counted and here we are with one last week to nab some games!!
Holiday break will be 29 June & 6 July.

With AG-Grow in town this week there will be no Friday night on 19 June. See you next week.

🎾 HOLIDAY SKIPPING CHALLENGE IS COMING! 🎾

Are you ready, Emerald Tennis? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

In just over a week we'll be kicking off our Holiday Skipping Challenge, starting Monday 29 June and running through to Sunday 12 July.

Skipping is one of the best activities for tennis players. It helps improve:
✅ Footwork
✅ Agility
✅ Fitness
✅ Coordination
✅ Movement around the court

And the best part? Anyone can join in!

👧👦🧑👨‍🦳 Open to ALL Tennis Emerald members – juniors, seniors and families.

🎁 There will be prizes for:
🏆 Top Point Scorer
⭐ Most Improved
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Participation
🎟️ Random Participation Draw

📱 We'll also have a WhatsApp group where members can share videos, photos and encourage each other throughout the challenge.

🪢 Don't have a skipping rope?
No problem! We have skipping ropes available in the clubhouse.

📋 Scorecards are now available from the clubhouse, so grab yours and get ready to start on Monday 29 June.

👏 A big congratulations to Joe, who is currently completing the Emerging Leaders Course with Tennis Queensland.

As part of his training, Joe stepped up to help Tournament Direct the MatchPlay component of the Emerald Muster. From creating the draws and organising players, to keeping matches on time, entering results, and speaking in front of players and parents, it's a challenging role with plenty of responsibility.

For your first go, you did an outstanding job. These experiences are all part of developing the next generation of leaders in our sport, and we're proud to see you taking on new challenges and growing your skills.

Well done, Joe, and thank you for your contribution to a successful Emerald Muster! 🎾👏

🌭🎾 While our Muster participants were busy enjoying their Saturday night sausage sizzle, Court 1 was the place to be for a fantastic exhibition match!

Noah and Joe took on Zey and Lawson in a match that had plenty of great rallies, impressive shot-making, and entertaining tennis on display. It was a cracker of a contest and a real treat for everyone watching.

A big thank you to the players for putting on such a great show and helping make the Emerald Muster weekend even more memorable. 👏🎾
