What an incredible way to finish our 2022 Dance Year!!

Our performers at KOPA were next level this weekend, smashing out 2 big performances! I am so so so proud!

Each yeah it just gets better!

A massive congratulations to all of our students at KOPA, you are Superstars!!

Thank you to our student helpers, week in and week out you show up to help us and we are so proud and grateful for what you do!

And of course I couldn’t do any of this without my teaching staff. I am forever grateful for your commitment, dedication, passion, creativity and love for me and the school ❤️

We will be selling on the door for Friday night show. We will see for Saturday night depending on what we sell today.

Thanks to our performers, Junior 2 Jazz & Intermediate 2 Hip Hop who danced at the Denison Fete last night. Everyone did such a wonderful job!! 💃❤️

We would love to give a special mention to our amazing Zumba teacher Miss Shelby Nuell. Miss Shelby has been apart of Groove ‘N’ Flow since 2020. She has over 10yrs experience in teaching & dancing Zumba and we’ve loved every part of this new adventure.

What you may not know about Shelby is her dancing background is a little different to the rest of ours… Shelby is a Ballroom dancer and has been dancing for a long period of her life. She started back in 2005 under the guidance of Pat Willans and Linda Booth. Which is now run by Linda and her daughter Bec Nielsen at Take The Lead Ballroom. We are very lucky to have the support of Bec and her family also taking classes at Groove N Flow 😍

On Saturday just gone Take The Lead Ballroom held their 50th Annual Ballroom exams at the Town Hall, which I was most proud to have gone and watched. Miss Shelby like many others danced that day and came away with amazing results!!

Modern (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep) Honours
Latin (Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive) - Honours
English Old Time - Honours
New Vogue - Highly Commended

Miss Shelby says It felt really special to return to dancing as a mum and complete my gold star medal examinations. I’m very grateful for the support of my husband, family and Linda & Beccie 💛
