Gyms, Yoga & Pilates studios are a safe haven for people because it brings a sense of belonging to the individual, that’s what makes them so great.

If the government is honestly concerned about the well being of the Victorian community, surely they would open up a gym rather than letting people go get a root in a brothel.

• 5 Home Workout Ideas •

Self-isolated, unemployed (for hopefully a short period of time) and with basically everything else is literally taken away from me.

I thought it would be best to keep give back to the community which has enabled me to do what I love for so long.

With everyone going through similar hardships it’s best to bond together as a community and help each other out during these difficult times. It’s only a small piece but hopefully it helps break up your day!

Here’s some advice on how to stay relatively slim while you’re on holidays or travelling

1) Accept that you might put on a couple of kilos. This way you won’t be beating yourself up when you look in the mirror or jump on a scale. It puts you in a better mindset and most of them time as soon as you get back into routine those couple of kilos just fall straight off!
2) Aim to do any form of exercise (weights, running, HIIT class) every 2-3 days. 2-3 days is on average 3 sessions a week and that’s a f**ken good achievement. Most of time you’re walking lots everyday anyway, but as the old saying goes, use it or lose it.

3) Use intermittent fasting. If you can get through to lunch with just water and or a black coffee, do it. You’re saving yourself 300-700 calories in one meal. While it’s not ideal everyday try do it as much as you can.

4) Try cook yourself as much as you can. While the majority of food intake while travelling is from a restaurant, there’s usually more hidden calories in restaurant food compared to cooking at home.

5) Aim for protein each and vegetables each meal, that’s a non negotiable.

6) If you’re a tight ass and want get to a gym but don’t want to pay. Google local gyms around you and see if they have any free passes to offer and just keep using and abusing. Or just buy a membership because they’re cheap and there’s lots of them

7) Enjoy yourself, don’t stress about your weight or image. You’re on holiday take the time to relax and get away from your daily routine 😊
