πŸ–€πŸ’› SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT β€” Le Pine Funerals

We're thrilled to welcome back one of our longest-standing supporters for 2026, Le Pine Funerals.

Right in the heart of Eltham on Main Road, Le Pine has cared for local families for generations and gives back across our community β€” backing local sport, schools and groups. They've proudly supported our club for many years, and that loyalty is exactly what keeps Eltham Rugby going season after season.

Thank you, Le Pine, for being part of the Eltham Rugby family. πŸ–€πŸ’›

No training tonight. ☁️
Due to the weather and field conditions, training is cancelled. Safety comes first β€” the field isn't holding up, so we're sitting this one out.
We'll keep you posted on any changes.
Stay safe, stay dry, and we'll see you next time. πŸ–€πŸ’›

πŸ‰ Get Into Rugby | Week 4

Four weeks in β€” and the smiles say it all.

Tries scored, side steps pulled off, ball moving beautifully. A huge thank you to parents, Leanne and Hamish who stepped up to help coach this week without a second thought. That's the Eltham spirit right there.

New skills are clicking into place, and we couldn't be more proud of every single one of these kids. πŸ–€πŸ’›

πŸ‰ U12s | Brimbank 47 v Eltham 21
The score doesn't come close to telling the story. Our U12s went to Brimbank, came up against a big, strong side β€” and never stopped coming. πŸ’ͺ
Highlight of the day? Max scooping up a kick and running the FULL length of the field for a try under the posts. πŸ™Œ Add to that huge defence from Roman, fearless runs from Josh, Alex, Louis and Carmelo, and a team that was fitter and still running hard at the final whistle.
Brave, fierce, never-say-die. That's our Wattle spirit. πŸ–€πŸ’›

πŸ‰ U8s | Away at Southern District, Seaford

The team put in a fantastic performance, dominating the try-scoring throughout the match. Strong running, hard tackles and excellent defensive pressure were on display from all players, showing just how much confidence and skill the group is developing.

Most pleasing was the way the team worked together. The players are beginning to show real rhythm and flow in attack, supporting each other well and moving the ball effectively. Their teamwork and understanding of the game continue to improve each week. This is what Junior Rugby is about!

Big smiles, big effort, and a whole lot of fun. We couldn't be more proud. πŸ–€πŸ’›

πŸ‰ U18s | Round 5 | Eltham/Brimbank 48 – Wyndham 19

A great performance from the combined U18s today β€” set pieces clicked, the defence held firm, and the smiles were big at the final whistle.

Big improvement all round. Proud of these lads. πŸ–€πŸ’›

All In For Reconciliation πŸ–€πŸ’›
This week, 27 May to 3 June, Australia comes together for National Reconciliation Week β€” and at Eltham Rugby, we're proud to stand alongside the theme: All In For Reconciliation.
Rugby has always been a sport that brings people together. On the field, it doesn't matter where you come from β€” what matters is that you show up, you commit, and you back the person next to you. That's the spirit of reconciliation too.
As a club, we acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land we play on at Bridge Street. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
National Reconciliation Week is a time to learn, reflect, and take action. We encourage all our players, families, and volunteers to take a moment this week to do exactly that β€” whether that's attending a local event, reading up on reconciliation, or simply having the conversation.
We are a club built on inclusion. That's not just a value we talk about β€” it's something we live at training, committee meetings and every Saturday on the field.
