I wrote the following words, from my heart, after the loss of yet another loved one just recently. At the same time the world remembers the horror and trauma of 9/11, a reminder of the devastating and far reaching impact of sudden loss.

So many lives were changed in an instant, even now, 25 years later, we continue to hold in our hearts all those who were lost and everyone who was traumatised as a consequence.

Grief touches us all in many different ways and through our shared sadness, we are reminded of how precious life is and how deeply we are all connected.

Sending so much love and projected light to the world today and to each and every one of you in love wrapped up in pure light

What a great night we enjoyed at our Magic Monday yoga class this week.

The energy was amazing helped along by Emma with her guide dog in training Riley, who always brings so much joy and smiles amongst the Yogis - below is a photo of Yogi Sue enjoying the vibrant energy that Riley brings to our Yoga

On a personal note, last week was tough with the unexpected passing of a friend and my dogs chiropractor- the death of a loved being always brings intense shock and an incomparable emptiness. I live alone, I tend to internalise my emotions which as Yogis well know manifests in the body.

Being aware of how my body feels, I knew I needed a 'quick fix' to add to my personal practise, so Monday morning I was able to enjoy a remedial massage with Beverley who attends our yoga class.

Beverley is amazing and I highly recommend her massage to anyone who needs a reset, release and/or relax. The relax was inevitable with chosen essential oils and a warm blanket. The reset and release was felt as soon as I got up from the table, my body felt lighter, the tightness in my lower left back was gone and the sciatic pain which has presented on my left side notably released - relieved I was able to continue to work refreshed and uplifted - contact me for her contact details

Have a "Wonder Wednesday" everyone - looks like the sun is coming back to say hello, remember to get those bare feet in some sun touched grass and breathe deep

A reflection from last night's yoga class... 💚

Meika asked me last night if one of the yogis she had seen me talking with before class was okay. I explained some of the challenges this beautiful soul is currently facing.

Her response was simple:
"Wow... with all that happening, she still came to yoga."

Those words stayed with me.
The very first thing I said to everyone last night was,
"The hardest part of yoga is walking out through the front door."

This morning, I've reflected on just how true those words are.
Life doesn't pause because we have a yoga class.
We all carry something—stress, grief, uncertainty, illness, family responsibilities, or simply the weight of a busy life. Yet, when we choose to step through that front door with our yoga mat, we're choosing ourselves.
We're choosing healing, hope, and the belief that we deserve an hour to breathe.
Today's reflection has inspired me to do better, to continue to serve, and to keep showing up for my yogis, just as they continue to show up for themselves.

✨ Every day is a fresh start.
Leave yesterday behind as you breathe deeply, move mindfully, and take one step at a time towards becoming your best self.
Yoga is so much more than movement—it's a journey towards strength, inner peace, and balance.
Every breath grounds you.
Every pose empowers you.
Every practice helps you become stronger, calmer, and more resilient.
A healthy body begins with movement, and a peaceful mind begins with presence.
So this is my gentle invitation...
Please join me on Monday night.
Mindfully take that first step through the front door.

Sometimes the hardest step is the one that gets you there—but it's the one you'll be most grateful you took. 🧘‍♀️

I read this to the Yogis last night - this is so common and yet so many of us have no idea that the foundation of overwhelm lies in how we live.

Prolonged computer and phone use, along with a bombardment of information being hurled at us, affects your energy levels through both physical strain and cognitive load, leading to a state often described as "wired and tired" not only mentally disturbing us with the content and the speed with which its relayed, however creating an inner state of overwhelm as the brain struggles to process and break down our daily tasks into manageable tasks

For me, I talk to myself with the most trusted voice for my subconscious mind, telling myself 'one step at a time Gaynor, one step" - immediately I can feel my nervous system calming down, allowing for the mind to quieten - my brain is then able to process what needs to be done in an orderly manner without the noise of the monkey chatter of a struggling, noisy mind creating overwhelm and distraction.

Enjoy Terrific Tuesday Yogis - be as terrific as the day one step at a time!!

LOOK AT HOW SMALL YOUR FEARS REALLY ARE

In a universe this vast,
we are a tiny moment on a tiny planet…
yet we spend most of our lives
worried, anxious, and afraid.

Paying bills. Chasing approval.
Carrying fears that may never even happen.

But fear grows only when you keep feeding it.

Step back for a second.
Breathe. Observe.

Most of what you’re stressing about today
won’t even matter a year from now…
and certainly not in the scale of existence.

This doesn’t mean your life is meaningless—
it means your worries don’t deserve that much power.

You are here for more than survival.
More than fear. More than routine.

Be present. Be aware. Be free from unnecessary suffering.

Because peace doesn’t come
when life becomes perfect…
it comes when you stop letting fear control it. 🕊️

Good morning Yogis

A small select number of us last night, I am so deeply grateful to each and every one of you for supporting the class - I know how much that energy lift benefits us all!

This year the church increased the hourly rate for using the hall notably, whilst our class is an hour, they charge me for 15 minutes on either side of that hour to allow for arrival and departure times.

Since the puppies were born, my own energy has been divided, now for Yoga to continue I absolutely need to lift my own energy and bring that inspiration to my attending yogis, whilst I contemplate the future of our Yoga, I immediately go to my most important counsel that being YOU!

What would YOU like for Yoga to continue - I will not assume that what suits me is not necessarily what is in your best interests and perhaps the time has come for change - with change comes a shift of energy to relight the fire and perhaps with the world changing remarkably everything needs to adjust too.

This leads me to ask you all how you would feel to 'Yoga Online' with a subscription base - giving you access to doing Yoga at home in your own time?

I see content being inspirational talk from my own personal week of learning, a weekly Yoga class that can be accessed for each week and a meditation time for those that just need the relaxation

Let me know your thoughts - I rely on your input to make the best decision for you and our Yoga

Enjoy Terrific Tuesday Yogis - be as terrific as the day!!
