Congratulations, Sarah Black ❤️

Sarah has been selected for the Football Victoria Academy, capping off a huge season with the Redbacks.

Playing U13 GVYPL1 as a 10 and 11 year old, Sarah was also named the inaugural winner of the Keely Lockhart Memorial Award at our presentation evening. The award recognises an emerging female player who shows the talent, dedication and commitment Keely brought to our club.

The whole Redbacks family is proud of you, Sarah. Enjoy every minute of the next step.

Eltham Redbacks FC is delighted to announce George Katsakis as Senior Men’s Head Coach for the 2027 season. 🔴⚫

More than three decades of senior coaching in Victoria, three straight NPL Victoria premierships, the 2017 Dockerty Cup and the 2025 VPL1 championship. His teams are organised, hard to beat, and full of players picked for their character as much as their ability.

“After speaking to Gabby and Joe, I got the feeling there’s a sleeping giant here.”

IZZY BERKS - RE-SIGNED FOR 2027!!!

What a player 🙌

With an incredible 2026 season, she was one of the biggest influences for the powerhouse VPLW Eltham Redback's. Claiming 32 goals in 23 games through both the league and the cup, and scoring in the third minute of the Redback's promotion game to shift the team to full momentum from the get go.

In addition to her fantastic season, she also won the VPLW Players' Player of the Year.

Scoring braces, hat-tricks, and goals when it's needed the most, were very glad to have Izzy back at the club for another season.

Get excited to watch her in action 🕷️
