Last week I was on a course and something that came up was about quitters.

Quitters are the people who give you the most crap in your life. Block anyone, yes that includes friends and family, who will derail you in your progress. Don't ever listen to another quitter again (except if they are quitting that toxic habit in their life of course, like smoking, drinking, overeating, relationship, job etc.).

I was super excited to see that David Goggins released another book. His first book, 'Can't Hurt Me' blew my mind and really kickstarted the mindset journey for me. Can't wait to get into this one. Have pre-ordered mine on Audible.

I am a bit of a perfectionist in areas of my life, and while this can be a good thing, it is important that it does not control whether I do things or not. Getting started is far more important, and progress, with incremental steps, no matter how slow, is far better than not trying anything at all.

As a teacher I see far too many students with the mindset of not even trying because they believe their results need to be perfect. This mentality needs to be addressed and it concerns me that primary aged children feel this way.

Please, strive for progress, not perfection.

This was exciting news to receive this morning!

We are super excited to announce the 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 for October 2022!

🥁 Drum roll please 🥁
Narelle Crozier !! 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 !! 🥳🥳
You are October's Member of the Month.

Only a few weeks into her fitness journey Narelle got thrown a massive curve ball. She had an accident while at a dog sledding event, hurt her ankle and was unable to train or even walk much! 😭

In times like that you have two options. . . give up or find a solution.
Instead of throwing in the towel, Narelle continued to work with us for nutrition coaching until she was given the all-clear to train. 🏋️‍♀️

She is now back in action and in the last four months, including her time off she has achieved. . . . .
👉 Just shy of 12kg down and 8.5kg of that being pure body fat!

This is a great example of the kind of VLFE ethos we love. ♥️ Focusing on solutions, not problems, always wins, and Narelle is a testament to that. 😍
