We are taking on the 2021 Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge!

In July 2021, my teammates and I will be tackling the Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge - Australia’s toughest team endurance event.

We are returning to the Gold Coast next year for the 96km event, and we will post up more closer to the time.

Thank you to all our financial suporters! Because of your generosity, we have reached our target and can compete in the Kokoda Challenge.

Training Update:
This Saturday we have the Baringa 5km parkrun, then later in the afternoon, all members will be completing a 20km walk with packs on. Keep an eye out for our team pic!

No excuses - a small effort is much better than no effort.

This mornings 5km walk in 46:58 with a sprained ankle, suffered by walking in the rain on Wednesday evening.

Don’t forget we are still seeking donations, if you’re able to donate a small amount, please do! A small amount is better than no amount 😉

Busy weekend training for the Dad Bod Runners!

Parkrun Baringa Saturday morning at 7am, then Sunday afternoon 4pm 2 laps of Mt Coolum.

Legs are sore, but we will continue ramping up the training over the next couple of weeks.

Yesterday Steve achieved a personal best!
Baringa parkrun 5km in 29.05 mins.
Next Saturday 13th March, all 3 of us will be there completing the 5km run.
If you would like to cheer us on, please feel free to come down
7am at the Baringa sports grounds.
