Skydive Elderslie (Newcastle Sport Parachute Club) is Australia's oldest skydiving club, established in 1960 by a group of parachuting enthusiasts who could see the potential of skydiving as a sport in Australia. Skydive Elderslie is located in the Hunter Valley, owned and operated by its members and for all those years we've had an excellent safety record. Whether you want to do a tandem skydive,

learn to jump solo (Accelerated Freefall course) or are a sport jumper looking for the best place to skydive in the Newcastle/Hunter area, Elderslie is the place to be! We're always looking at ways of improving our service to our members, we want to make sure you will enjoy the experience and thrill of skydiving. At our private airfield in the heart of the beautiful Hunter Valley everyone is welcome! Bring your family and friends along, lay back, look up at the sky and watch the parachutes, have a BBQ, enjoy the fire pit and the fun of our wonderful club atmosphere.

World Skydiving Day 2024/Wicked Weekend NSPC

We sent 20 caravan loads with 16 or more slots filled on every single load, totalling in over 330 slots and contributing over 10% of Australia’s Jump numbers and over 1% of total Jump numbers Worldwide! 🌏

A small sports skydiving club with a 20 load limit contributing over 10% to the country’s total jumps numbers….That’s pretty awesome! 🇦🇺

And we are going to do it all again this year

Come celebrate 65 years of NSPC!

Meet Elios!🫀

The organiser of this amazing event and many more to come.

Elios did his first tandem at Picton on Australia Day 2018 and it was at this moment that he knew, he had finally found his place in the world. The next week he booked his AFF course!

6 years and over 2,000 jumps later he has become a passionate leader on the ground and in the sky. He is now a one of a kind AFF instructor with his trademark “BREATHE” methodology, and has created pathways for many flyers to get into the art of tracking and angles.

Elios thrives in chaos and may have some unconventional opinions, but his love for the sport and the people in it is much louder than his big mouth.

Meet Our President! 🍺

Dano started jumping at NSPC at the end of 2017, by January 2018 he was flying big ways and by February that year he had already attended NSPC’s FAMOUS BLACK DEATH with only 34 jumps under his belt.

Since then he has completed well over 1200 jumps, has created alongside Chris Rawle the event we all know and love, Wicked Wednesdays, is an AFF instructor, Tandem instructor, Manifest Master and integeral part of of the NSW skydiving family.

Fun Fact: Dano’s perfect day starts with a dare iced coffee, 5 amazing RW Jumps with AA or above participants, a couple westerly landings a 6 pack of Hard Cider or Solos followed by a Pub feed and a Royal Flush on Poker night.

Meet Longy! 🏆

Adam Long’s first skydive was in 1992 (the year Elios was born) since then he has completed over 17,000 Skydives.

He has 10 years of competition under his belt with 8 national titles, including Artistic freefly, 4way VFS, Canopy Competitions, 4 world meet appearances, 2x Vertical BIGWAY world records AND has also been Jackie Chan's skydiving stunt double!

On top of all that Longy is also a DZSO, AFF instructor, Freefly Coach #22, a Packer A and mentor to MANY.

Meet Andres Baile Sánchez! 🥑

Everything started when I was 11 years old running around with a fake parachute that I made myself at school out of plastic bags, jumping from cars, windows, ledges and whatever else could give me that falling sensation!

I have always been attracted to flying.

Today I’m 31 years old and I’ve been in the sport for over 3 years!

I got about 1055 jumps mostly Angles

Yep that’s me, always walking and talking to everyone at the dropzone. Always keen to help with anything but not packing your chute.

Fun fact: I’m also a BREL COACH but you didn’t know that!

Meet Tassio Porto! 🥷🏻

Tassio started skydiving in Brazil in 2015, in his 9 years in the sport he has completed over 4500 jumps!

He is an AFF Instructor, Tandem Master,
Free Fly Coach and Tunnel Instructor!

If you know Tassio you know he loves to fly Head Up!

And GOD does he look GOOD doing it!

Fun Fact: Tassio is the ninja you never knew you met as he is one of the quietest achievers on the drop zone, probably because he is half Japanese.
