We would also like to acknowledge the Moorabool shire council, Bendigo bank and Cricket Victoria who all contributed grant funding for major projects for our club, including the upgrade of our new cricket nets for the benefit of not only our club but also the broader Elaine community.

With our next significant project, the redevelopment of our Centre wicket with a brand-new pitch meeting Cricket Australia standards, set to commence in a couple of weeks, we eagerly anticipate next season.

The Ballarat Cricket Association held its senior presentation on Tuesday night with some outstanding individual performances.

Massive Congratulations to Nicholas Pantzidis, Elaine's Senior Captain, who was awarded Champion Player for the third consecutive season. Notably, he also secured the top batting and bowling awards with
539 runs @ 107.80
30 wickets @ 10.77.

Some of Nicholas's stats for the season include

539 runs @ 107.80, with a high score of 103*

30 wickets @ 10.77, with a best figure of 6/23. He also achieved a rare feat, potentially becoming Elaine's first player to take 10 wickets in a single match.
Nicholas finished the season with 7 catches and 1 run-out.

Congratulations also to Damon Kierce, Elaine's Vice Captain, who finished third for Champion Player and third in the bowling with 23 wickets, and to Darcy Keating, Elaine's Vice Captain who finished ninth for Champion Player.

The fact that an increasing number of our players are advancing in the Association's Champion Player rankings is a testament to their improvement.

With these amazing individual awards and achievements, and Winning the Premiership, this season was a dream come true, and congratulations are in order for each of our players who contributed to this unbelievable season. Despite being a small club, we have demonstrated that we have the biggest heart

This weekend just got a whole lot more exciting! What a better way to spend your 50th game than in a grand final! 💙🤍

The Elaine Cricket Club would like to congratulate Darcy Keating on playing his 50th senior game this weekend!

When Keats came to the club to play with friends, he probably didn’t plan on becoming such a pivotal player and leader for the club. He was introduced this year as vice captain and has absolutely ran with it. We have seen such growth from Keats since he has been here. He is well respected, loved and appreciated and can’t wait to see him continue on in his journey for this club.
