Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report. Thirteen players enjoyed a stableford round at Eildon last Saturday in perfect spring conditions.
Coming home with 37 points and first place honors was Leigh Munro. Three behind Leigh on 34 was Peter McNair followed by Ken Coller, 32, and Grant Walters on 31. Together with Ken and Grant, four others finished with 30 points and all qualified for the ball rundown.
Leigh was also successful in the secret six as well as taking one of the five nearest the pins (14th) on offer. The 3rd (second shot) went to Micheal McLear, the 12th to Brad Newton whilst the 5th and 11th went unclaimed. Both birdie holes were also spared.
Our entry draw was awarded to Grant whilst Colin Long was our lucky swindle recipient.
Don’t forget that next Saturday's monthly medal stroke round has been brought forward and will now be held on Friday the 25th Sep. (Public Holiday). Please let Rod know if you intend on playing as Kaz will be organizing post round snacks. Hope you can all make it.

A perfect spring day saw Colin Long run away with a convincing win in last Saturday’s August Monthly Medal.
Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report. Colin joined ten others in a stroke round and came in with a very respectable net 69, five clear of our runners up, Brad Newton on 74. Next in line was Phil Dally (75), John Matthews (75) and Ken Coller (76) all qualifying for the ball rundown.
Only 1 of the 5 nearest the pins went off and was awarded to Ken on the 14th. Both birdie holes also went begging.
Colin was also successful in the secret six competition whilst Brad had the least amount of putts for the round finishing with 24. And to finish off, our two winners Colin and Brad were both successful in the entry draw and swindle respectively.
The forecast for this coming Saturday is looking great and it would be wonderful if you could join us. Until then, take care and happy hitting. EGC.

Hello everyone.
Unfortunately there is nothing to report this week. Due to the rain last Friday night, the course was deemed too wet to play resulting in the postponement of August’s Monthly Medal which will now be held this coming Saturday the 12th September. Good luck to everyone competing.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report.
Another small field contested a Stableford round at Eildon last Saturday in fine conditions all be it still a little wet under foot.
In a three way count back Rod Taylor prevailed to take first place honors. In second place was Colin Long followed by Leigh Munro with all three players finishing on 28 points.
Rod was successful with two of the five nearest the pins on offer taking the prize on the 3rd par 4 (second shot) & the 14th. The 5th, 11th & 12th went unclaimed as did the two birdie holes on offer.
Marion Williamson was the secret six winner whilst Brad Newton gain the entry draw. There was no swindle or joker draws due to the small numbers.

Next Saturday will see the club host Septembers monthly medal in a stroke round. Hope to see a few familiar faces out there.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report. Only eight players participated in a Stableford round at Eildon last Saturday in wet and difficult conditions.
In a three way count back, Jezza Magee was declared the winner ahead of Leigh Munro followed by Nick Munro with all players finishing with 30 points. One behind on 29 points was Rod Taylor securing the ball rundown.
Rod was also successful with three of the five nearest the pins on offer taking the 5th, 12th & 14th. Nick was successful on the par 4 3rd (second shot) whilst the 11th went unclaimed as did the two birdie holes on offer. Nick also took out the secret six competition.
Due to the low numbers, there was no entry or swindle draws.
Keep an eye out for updates regarding the closure of the course due to the very wet surface conditions.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report.
Even with the sun finally showing its face, conditions were tough with very wet conditions at Eildon last Saturday.
In a stroke round contested by just eight players, Jezza Magee took out first place honors with a net 68 with Leigh Munro seven shots back on 75 to garb the runners up title. Securing the ball rundown and not too far behind was both Grant Walters and Rod Taylor.
Jezza was also successful in the secret six and the least amount of putts for the day.
Only two of the five nearest the pins were accounted for with Leigh successful on the 12th & Grant on the 14th.
Rod claimed a birdie on the par 4 8th with the 15th unclaimed.
Our entry draw was awarded to Colin Long whilst Leigh took out the swindle.

Due to the very wet conditions, the club has advised that the course will be closed until further notice. Please check your emails and or FB for any updates.

Only six players ventured out last Saturday for a Stableford round at Eildon.
Hello everyone and welcome to our weekly report. In a small field, Leigh Munro gained first place honors with 31 points and two clear of Kerry Power on 29 to take out second place. A further three points back and securing a prize in the ball rundown was Rod Taylor.
The six players were also divided into two groups for a team’s event with Leigh, Kerry and Colin Long producing a combined 85 points.
Our secret six winner was Kerry.
Nearest the pins went to Leigh on the 11th, John Matthews the 12th & Jezza Magee the 14th. The 3rd & 5th went unclaimed as did the two birdie holes on offer. Rod was the entry draw recipient with Leigh having his number drawn in the swindle.
Next Saturdays competition will be a stroke round. Hope you can join us.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report which for this week we might rename the “ Nick Munro report”.
Nick joined twelve other players in cold, wet and somewhat miserable conditions to battle out July’s monthly medal in a stroke round last Saturday at Eildon.
Congratulations Nick on securing the medal with a net 69, four strokes clear of Leigh Munro on 73.
Nick was also the winner of the secret six, closest to the pin on the par 4 3rd (second shot), our entry draw and just to top it off, the swindle recipient.
Other results went to Brad Newton, Michael McLear and Phil Dally in the ball rundown. Phil was also successful with a birdie on the 8th and nearest the pin on the 11th. Brad took the prize on the 5th & 14th with Michael McLear rounding out on the 12th.
Well done again Nick on a fantastic performance and to everyone that competed it challenging conditions.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report. In cool but dry conditions, ten players contested a Stableford round at Eildon last Saturday. Coming home to take out first place honors was Rod Taylor who returned with 32 points and just one point ahead of runner up Allison Southwell on 31. The next three players all qualified for the ball rundown and were awarded to Brad Newton, Leigh Munro and Colin Long.
Brad picked up two of the five nearest the pins on offer securing the par 4 3rd (second shot) and the 14th. Rod was closest on the 12th whilst the 5th & 11th went unclaimed.
Grant Walters had a birdie on the 8th with the 15th going begging.
Rod took out the secret six, Leigh the entry draw and Colin the swindle.
Next Saturday will see the club contest July’s monthly medal in a stroke round. It would be great to see you all there.

Hello everyone and welcome back to our weekly report.
Last Saturday, the club conducted a par 4BBB 2 person competition with twelve players testing their skills.
Congratulations on father and son pairing Leigh and Nick Munro who finished with a +1 to take out first place honors. Coming home in second place on -2 was husband and wife Michael and Sandi McLear. Kerry Power and Rod Taylor were next in line returning a score of -5.
Michael was nearest the pin on the par 4 3rd (second shot) with Nick securing the prize on the 14th. The 5th, 11th & 12th all went begging. Leigh and Nick were also both successful with a birdie each on the 8th whilst no one found the cup in four on the par 5 15th. Nick picked up yet another prize with success in the secret six competition.
Peter McNair was our entry draw winner with Ken Coller taking out the swindle draw.
Next Saturday will see the club contest a Stableford competition. Hope you can all make it in what has been forecast to be a beautiful winters day.
