Eidsvold Carnival has been cancelled at the emergency discretion of the Eidsvold Polocrosse Club.
Sadly the current economic climate has strong-armed them and it won’t be viable for them to run the event. At this stage their will be no postponed date for them this year. The club are very sorry to announce this, it was a very difficult decision for them to make. It was going to be their 65th Carnival – this will instead be celebrated next year (in the club’s 66th year, but that’s alright!).
Regarding Darwin players – the topic of a compulsory event is still being discussed between the Management Committee. At this stage no other carnival has been made compulsory for Darwin players, but we are aiming to reach a decision with this as soon as possible, QPA understands you need to know ASAP.
