🇳🇵 A Moment of Respect

Before the game, both teams observed one minute of silence in memory of those who lost their lives and for everyone affected by the recent devastating floods in Nepal, which have caused significant loss of life and destroyed homes and infrastructure.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the affected families and communities in Nepal. 🇳🇵

Thank you to AC Unito Adelaide and Parahills West Soccer Club for kindly agreeing to join us in observing the one-minute silence. Your respect and support meant a lot to our club and the Nepalese community.

A huge thank you to every player who has given everything for this club. Through the tough moments, the pressure and the challenges, you stuck together, fought for each other and never gave up.

Pray for Nepal! Whoever can please attend

🕯️ Candlelight Vigil – Pray for Nepal

In remembrance of those who have tragically lost their lives in the recent devastating floods and disasters in Nepal, we are coming together for a Candlelight Vigil.

We warmly urge all members of the Nepali community across South Australia to come together in solidarity, compassion and prayer, and to show our support for the affected families and communities back home in Nepal.

Let us stand united as one community, honour the lives lost, and offer our prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time.

Well done to the whole AKFC family!

A fantastic Sunday as all three AKFC teams secured three points against Munno Para!

A’s: 3–2 WIN (Manish Neupane-1, Milan Gurung-2)
B’s: 3–2 WIN (Amrit Khadka-1, Ujwal Ppudel-1, Sudeep Shrestha-1)
C’s: 3–1 WIN ( Pusparaj Timilsina-3)

We may have struggled at times throughout the season, but the commitment, determination and desire to grow together as a team has never wavered.

General Awareness Alert - Pls be safe

High Security Notice: 🚨

Please be aware that there is a group of people going door to door pretending to be Home Affairs Officers. They have documents and letterheads from the Home Affairs Department and claim that they need to verify that everyone has a valid ID for the upcoming census. They rob houses. They are everywhere and they look neat.

Someone will come to your house and say *I want to take your photo/fingerprint according to some scheme*. They have a laptop, a biometric machine and a list of all the names. They show the list and ask for all this information.

Please be aware that there is no such initiative by the government.

Please be aware that all of this is fake. Do not give them any information. Everyone should be vigilant and *aware*!
