Congratulations to Mihana Shishido for her semi-final performance at the U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships. Mihana attended an intensive training camp in Australia last year to prepare her for the selection races and lead up to this year's world championships. A great effort in meeting the aggressive Japan National Team qualifying time, and for achieving personal best times at the championships. From here she continues her international competition at the World University Championships.

Koyo is on his way back to Japan after 7 months in Adelaide. He is returning with an Australian Championship Gold Medal (Australian K2 Marathon Champion), an Australian Sprint Canoe Championship Bronze medal in the K1 5000m, a 3rd place in K2 1000m Australian Sprint Championships, and A finalist in both the 500m and 1000m K1 events at the Australian Sprint Canoe Championships. He will no doubt be very successful in the All Japan Championship event in September.
