🎉 JULY VACFUN BOOKING NOW OPEN 🎉

There is something for everyone these school holidays at the Blackwood Recreation Centre! We offer both daily workshops for an exciting morning activity or full day bookings for a whole day of VacFun fun!

Full Day Bookings - $55, Workshops: $22 (10:30am - 12pm)

Joining us for our Full Day Bookings will include:
🛼Skating: All day, bring your own or use ours. Blades and 4 wheel skates are available.
🤸Gym: 3 super tramps, beams, bars, gym mats and shapes.
🏀Stadium: Skating, basketball, soccer and group games.
🎨Craft: Various arts and crafts activities daily.

🎬✨ MOVIE THEMED ROLLER DISCO SUMMARY✨🎬

Our Movie Themed Roller Disco was a blockbuster success, with an incredible 435 people attending the event!

The centre was transformed into a fun-filled celebration of all things movies, with skaters of all ages dressing up as their favourite characters and hitting the rink for an unforgettable evening. From family favourites to iconic movie heroes, the creativity on display was fantastic.

Throughout the night, attendees enjoyed great music, exciting games, prizes, and face painting, creating a vibrant atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy together. It was wonderful to see so many members of our community come together for an evening of fun, laughter and skating.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, our amazing staff and volunteers who helped make the event possible, and all those who contributed to making the night such a memorable success. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for our Halloween Roller Disco in October!

‼ Public Holiday Closure Reminder ‼

Blackwood Rec Centre will be closed on Monday 8th June for the public holiday.

No regular activities or programs will be running. Our Fitness Studio will still be open from 8:00am–12:00pm for general workouts only. Please note there will be no fitness classes running during this time.

Enjoy the long weekend and we’ll see you back at the centre soon 💙

🎉🎂 You're invited to party with the Blackwood Rec Centre! 🎂🎉

Looking for a party that’s active, exciting and action packed? We’ve got you covered!

Choose from:
🛼Roller Skating Parties - Skate to music, play fun games and enjoy a classic party vibe on wheels. Skate hire is included for stress free fun! Our public skate instructors are available on the day for tips and tricks. Please note this party runs inline with our public skate session and has a minimum of 10 participants.

🤸‍♀️ Gymnastics Parties – Obstacle courses, games and plenty of gymnastics fun in our fully equipped gym. Lead by nationally accredited gymnastics coaches, party-goers will have access to our three super tramps, balance beams, bars and rings in this structured one hour session. This party can be enjoyed by children 5 years and older and has a maximum of 20 participants. Looking to expand the fun? Reach out to our team and request an additional coach!

A huge thank you to our amazing Blackwood Rec Centre community for supporting our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea!

Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible $250 with every dollar helping support cancer research, prevention programs, and support services for Australians impacted by cancer 💛
