📢 This year’s Sweat vs Steam event has raised $14,335.00 for
🙌 With increased participation numbers, this is the highest amount distributed to the
community in the past five years.
😍We welcomed 670 participants across the 10km, 5km, and Junior Dash events, supported by a dedicated team of 53 volunteers on the day.

“Our initial goal when taking over management of this event was, first and foremost, to keep it alive and showcase the unique opportunity to race against the paddle steamer and promote health and well-being in our community. To now also be in a position to raise such a significant amount for ERH is something we’re very proud of.” - Event Director Brady Threlfall.

👀 Next year’s event will be held on 15 November 2026, and we look forward to staging an even larger and more impactful race.

Thank you to all our participants, volunteers, event partners, and sponsors for a beautiful morning out on the roads and trails of Echuca!

The PS Pevensey came to race, clocking a hot 🔥 10km PB of 44:30—smashing its anticipated 50-minute time, and then backing it up with a 21:44 in the 5km.

A huge thank you to our co–race director, Sarah, for her leadership in the event precinct and throughout the lead-up, as well as to Jarrod and Kate for guiding their volunteer teams so brilliantly, and to the Echuca Moama Triathlon Club for their support.
