📢🏋️‍♂️ THE FINAL SIREN: The story we never wanted to tell.

When Chook first purchased this business seven years ago, we never envisioned it would end like this: auctioning the equipment and closing the doors after 45 years of operation, let alone without him. Our goal was always to modernise the processes while honouring the old school charm and values, with a plan to sell after five years and start a family.

Chook was driven by a vision to enhance a gym that he already held dear to his heart, having first trained at Dynamic when he was just 15, and proudly working there soon after.

He was committed to creating a space for recovery and rehabilitation all within the one facility; a "one-stop-shop". And so we got to work, with passion and fire within our soul to bring his vision to life.

Thankfully, Chook got to achieve his dream of owning the gym he grew up in; however due to circumstances that could never have been foreseen, such as COVID-19 lockdowns and the loss of the man himself, it has made it impossible to continue operating.

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that this is the final chapter of the Dynamic Fitness Centre story, and we will be closing our doors forever after Sunday the 30th of July 2023.

Words cannot express the love and gratitude we have for all of our Members, Guests and DFC family who have supported us over the years. It's been an absolute pleasure sharing our lives with you all. Special mention must go to Kev & Ann Brooke, our Staff and the many Members who have offered a hand, for all of the love, patience and kindness you've shown us over the years. As well as the countless community businesses, organisations and sporting clubs, specifically the local footy and netball clubs, that have shown their support year after year, but especially over the last fourteen months.

The auction is now live, and will close at 11:00AM on Thursday the 3rd of August 2023. If you are looking for second hand equipment, please get in early and click the link below to register. Our viewing day is tomorrow, Sunday the 30th of July 2023, between 10:00AM and 2:00PM.

I'm eternally grateful for everybody who has offered their support and help already, even though I often couldn't delegate. However, if you could please share this post as one final request, it really does make a difference in ensuring that this message gets out, thank you.

In regards to memberships or remaining sessions, please be patient and understand that this will be a process and will not happen overnight. All enquiries relating to refunds must be made in writing and directed to [email protected] before 11:59PM Wednesday the 16th of August 2023.
