September is here which means team nominations are due to BADSA in the next few weeks, so please get your rego in as soon as you can so we know what teams we have.

Did you know that by ages 15–17, 46% of girls have stopped playing sport, compared to just 30% of boys?

We want to change that!

Come along to our Tigers Meet & Greet. Whether you’ve played before or have never picked up a softball, everyone is welcome. Bring your friends and come give it go!

Come down, put some faces to names, have a chat and get to know our Tigers family before the season gets underway.

The bar will be open! Pizzas and prizes to give away! If you can please RSVP to the event to let us know numbers for pizza.

A huge thank you to Christy Meyers for all the time and effort she put into writing our successful Game On, Girls grant application. Grant applications are no easy task, and thanks to her hard work we've secured funding that will benefit our club and our teenage girls.

If anyone has experience writing grants, or would be interested in helping with applications like these in the future, we'd love to have you involved. Please consider joining the committee, having people with a range of skills makes a huge difference and helps our club continue to grow.

GAME ON, GIRLS - Empowering teenage girls through sport

Congratulations to the softball clubs that have been successful in receiving the CITS Game On, Girls funding.

This grant program focuses on boosting participation, retention and engagement of girls aged 13 to 17 in club sport. This program provides community club’s an opportunity to strengthen culture, attract new members, and build a reputation as a leader in inclusion. Sporting clubs were able to receive funding up to $5,000.
