Because that’s what he does, Mick took our Low Rider S out to Sydney Dragway yesterday.
Running in Street Bike, he made it to the final where he red lighted and collected the runner-up trophy.
Along the way, he ran back to back 13.08-second passes at 100 and 101mph. On a 100% stock standard bike with a heavy rider, that’s impressive.
Next time he takes it down track, the Low Rider S will have had a variety of goodies from the Screamin’ Eagle catalog added.
Oh yeah, because we’re doing a before and after story on this bike, that’s why M8 Super Glide stayed in the shed with its nice, new manifold untested.

Back on track with that 666 flying in Street Bike at the opening round of the NSW Championships at Sydney Dragway.
We're so good, we can even change the signwriting on the wall.
Plans are to race this season on what ever bike takes my fancy.
With thanks to Jim at Twintune Performance Center for tuning the Packhorse to perfection.
Also thank you to Bell Helmets for the new Broozer. Two helmets in one. Stop after a run and remove the faceplate for a cool ride back from the braking area.
That's a Vance & Hines exhaust making things sound good and a Cycle-Rama, Inc CR515 cam from Alpha Performance Engines enhancing the output of the Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Stage IV 131-cube engine.
As you and I have come to expect, FUCHS Silkolene Australasia is still keeping it lubed and rotating.
We'll share more updates after getting this Packhorse out on track again shortly. We 're planning to improve on the 12.02 and 110mph results from last meeting.

Here’s a pic of Mick with his Packhorse. Yep, every bike has a name round here.
What’s that all about? It’s all about Mick going racing this weekend on Packhorse. The Short Bus is still a work in progress, and there’s a race meeting this Saturday.
So, for the first round of the 2024 NSW Championships, Mick will be Harley-mounted and racing in Street Bike.
He’ll be hanging out with Heavy Duty magazine teammate Sean Ricketts. His crew will be Aiden Withers and Jaedus.
