After about a year and a half off from racing we decided it was time to take the Oztin out to have some fun. As the Day of the Drags has been a favourite of ours, we decided to have a go and see how we went. The Oztin (and driver!) exceeded all expectations and we ended up making it to the semi finals. We didn't make it to the finals but I felt like I had won anyway! The lil Oztin went so well all day. (Drag lag was at a whole other level today!!!) I want to thank Shane for everything he does to get the Oztin race ready and for trying to keep me calm on race day (Which I know is difficult). Thankyou to Ally and Geoffrey for assisting on the day and I am happy I was able to keep you all busy til almost the end. We are aiming to get the Oztin out a few times this year to have some more fun and hopefully a win or two. The photos and videos were provided by Ally , Geoff and Kimmy!

Oztin Racing is sending love out to our dragracing family after last night's tragic incident at Willowbank Raceway with the loss of Sam Fenech. We are keeping his Family, AC Delco Racing & all at Westend Performance in our thoughts at this difficult time.

First run of the day was 9.97 @ 130mph for our 1 & only qualifier. We will have 3 more runs today. So fingers crossed!
