Darcey’s Hot Take 🥵
Maybe you switched to the farmers market. You buy local wine. You love your local caffeine dealer. Don’t throw away all that good karma.
Revere is independently owned and run by people who actually live here, (the town, not the studio 🥲).
Our instructors are paid properly because good teaching is worth paying for. The space is considered, the equipment is quality, and none of it happened by accident.
Your membership isn’t funding a world domination strategy, an annual clout conference, or a capital investor’s third investment property. It supports wages, education, the local economy, and keeps the tax man reasonably (overly) satisfied.
This industry isn’t for people without genuine love for the practice. It takes commitment to always learning more, connecting with people, problem solving, figuring out which way to roll a hand towel, and yes, occasionally operating a hammer drill.
My Revere mantra has always been about the practice, the people and the process of making something worth showing up for. It’s not that deep to some, but for me it couldn’t be deeper.
