A truly phenomenal effort by WA to win a threepeat of titles today.

It wasn’t that long ago when we had a lengthy drought in the Shield, and today wraps up a double-triple - winning both the Sheffield Shield & One Day Cup for the past three years.

Congratulations must go to outing CEO Christina Matthews who has turned WA Cricket around during her 12-year tenure. WA Cricket was a basket case when she started, we promised the world and had been delivering an atlas and we’re now a silverware-winning machine.

Well done to the group, this squad demonstrates the great depth within WA cricket 👏🏽

WA have defeated NSW to win our 17th One Day title, and first-threepeat in the competition.

Joel Paris dominated with the 🍒 taking 4/21 while Hilton Cartwright steered WA to victory making 74* with the willow.

WA continues to dominate this format, having won four of the past seven Marsh Cups.
